Note:
Begin at absolute bottom left corner with historical overlay of Rackheath Air Force Base (orig. RAF). First waypoint for assembly of 467th and 466th Groups to become the 96th Combat Wing (CBW) takes place at Splasher-5 (Mundlesey), which is almost directly due north on the English coast, after which the formations move to the next waypoint, Buncher-24 (Hemsby) also on the coast but somewhat longitudinally more to the NorthEast of Rackheath, where they will merge with the final element of the 96th CBW, join up with the rest of the 3rd Force, and exit the coast for the voyage across the North Sea and Ostend.
These three points form the triangle of assembly employed by the components of the 96th CBW, not to include elements of the 458th BG, which forms up over Buncher-15 (probably near Horsham St.-Faith, the 458th's home base).
